Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital recently announced Kevin Clement has been appointed chief executive officer and began his new position on March 9.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to join the dedicated board members, employees, medical staff and volunteers at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital," said Clement. "I look forward to building on their many accomplishments and being a part of the future success of the hospital as well as an integral part of the community."

Clement brings 20 years of healthcare and management experience to the hospital. Most recently, he served as CEO at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Mo. While there, Clement worked to enhance and expand the hospital’s services, develop strong medical staff relations and build the hospital’s reputation by focusing on quality and customer service.

"Kevin is an accomplished healthcare leader and we are pleased to welcome him to Siloam Springs," said Tim Estes, Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital board member. "I was highly impressed with his experience and believe he will be a great fit for our hospital and community."

Prior to his position at Moberly Regional Medical Center, Clement served as CEO of Summit Medical Center in Van Buren, Ark., and as a chief operating officer and assistant administrator at facilities in Durant and Claremore, Okla., respectively.

Clement's professional affiliations and community service include serving as a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and American College of Healthcare Executives as well as serving as a board member of the Missouri Hospital Association. Locally, he served on the board of the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Moberly Rotary and Moberly Lion’s Clubs.

Clement graduated from East Central University in Ada, Okla., with a bachelor of science degree in healthcare administration and holds a master of science degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City. Clement’s wife, Jackie, and son, Karson, will relocate to Siloam Springs in the near future.
