Brown Bag Luncheon set for August 12
Maegan Phillips (left) and Holly Spencer, of Siloam Springs Sports and Physical Therapy, will speak on “The Benefts of Exercise in Seniors.” The talk will include learning easier ways to do basic things in the home, how exercise prevents and improves osteoporosis, and chair exercise demonstrations.
Phillips and Spencer are physical therapist assistant graduates of Northwest Arkansas Community College with associate of applied science degrees in physical therapy.
Phillips has worked with SSMH since August 1997 and Spencer has worked with SSMH since September 2008. They work primarily in the hospital seeing outpatients and inpatients for physical therapy and management of wound care.
The luncheon will be noon-1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall, 325 E. Twin Springs St., Siloam Springs. Lunch is provided. Call (479) 549-2443 to reserve a seat.
