Blood drive set for June 15 at SSMH

A blood drive by Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is slated for 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday, June 15, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital’s annex, 304 S. Maxwell.

Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present required identification. Also, a recent law has given 16-year-olds the opportunity to donate blood provided they meet the requirements and have written parental consent, according to the CBCO Web site.

According to CBCO, a single blood donation can save the lives of up to three people. For more information, call (800) 280-5337 or go online to www.cbco.org.
