Auxilians celebrate at annual banquet

New officers installed, awards given

Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Inc., recently had their annual Auxiliary Banquet to recognize and install new officers.

Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital is proud to have 12 new volunteers, raising our total to 65 wonderful Auxilians donating their time to our hospital,” said Kevin Clement, chief executive officer of Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.

The banquet recognized the highlights of the past year, mentioning the contributions to the community, including more than $10,000 in scholarships to high school students and local adults to continue their education.

New Officers/Awards

Officers who were installed for the 2010-2011 year are: President Diane Winder (continuing), President-elect Sharon Sly, Vice President Lavonne Jones, Secretary Sara Treftz and Treasurer Ann Cloud.

Volunteer of the year was Nancy Copeland with more than 1,900 volunteer hours. Auxilian of the Year was Sharon Sly for outstanding accomplishments.
